Awesome song! I spent the majority of that year in Mogadishu, Somalia. Got back to Hawaii and immediately left for Okinawa, Japan. I had a shitload of money saved up and bought a Bose component stereo as soon as I got there. Mellon Collie was one of the first of about 200 CDs I bought over the next few months.
