I've been watching unicorn riot mostly for coverage, Philly looks like an absolute madhouse. How are the historic places holding up? Are the madlads protecting your streets? We know the cops aren't just from watching.

Yea, I’m done with Rivals for a while. My normal hiatus starts around this time, but the bullshit from the mods, and no offense but the right wing cirlcle jerk, and the treatment of Lights is too much to take at this point of my message board life, especially with no football to discuss. The trolls that have been free to run roughshod is absurd.

The city is certainly volatile. There’s been peaceful protests, but only one really that turned ugly with the police the other day, but the rioting and looting has been amped up at night. But mainly confined to local neighborhoods and ATMs.

There was some tension in Fishtown the last couple of nights between protesters and the white trash locals of the hood but cooler heads prevailed.

The Historical Sites never really get fucked with because they’re pretty well protected and they tend to keep the crowd in Center City vs Old City.

I’m guessing things will calm down the next couple of days as severe weather has hit the area.

All in all, I’d put it 3rd behind the Riots of 64 and when the Birds won the Bowl as far as chaos in the city.

agree, ILTL is missed. mods always target the most passionate posters. Boiledbacon is probably my favorite poster atm.


Fishtown Ziggy up to no good? White people with weapons need to sit this one out.

Agree, but they also let the worst posters continue because they can’t understand how it works. They also have no idea who butters the bread. Whatever, place has been in decline for years for myriad of reasons.

Yea, my our friend lives in Fishtown (she’s a local) and it was def White trash mooks trying to be Casey Jones dropping the hard R’s. Of course come fall they’ll be rooting for 45 Black guys in Midnight Green. Shit never changes.
