It is tense as hell right now which is what happened in this thread. There are no hard feelings, we are just trying to contain all of it in one place and keep the Watercooler more relaxed. We also have to remember we are actively trying to being posters here from Twitter and I think the cooler is one of the landing zones and therefore should be more light hearted. Killy and 5Q are working on this so things have a place all over

Guys I’ve been pretty quiet on this. I don’t post much anymore, but I still go through the threads. Social media, including this board have become infernos of emotional toxicity due to current events. Emotions are raw, tolerance of others opinions is non existent, and we as a whole have forgotten how to disagree with someone without attacking them personally rather than challenging their belief. I may disagree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to say it. It’s one of the cornerstones of a democratic free society. There has to be rules, some checks and balances in place otherwise things descend into chaos and anarchy. Be patient brothers!

Can I ask what in the fuck even happened? I mean, am I oblivious, or something? Does drama only happen at night? AM I part of the problem and no one told me? For 2 weeks it felt like I was the only one even posting in the political thread, talking to myself, posting news articles and videos. WTF happened?

I don’t apologize for the emotions, I wear them on my sleeve. City is on edge, my parents are staying with me and the wife cause they have no power from the storms, and I’ve had long hours this week getting projects done.
