Dave Gilmour - A legend

Angus Young - Another legend. One of my favorite quotes from an interview he did - "When I'm on stage the savage in me is released. It's like going back to being a cave man. It takes me six hours to come down after a show."

Eric Clapton - Amazing

Steve Vai - Legend

Steve Vai played guitar for David Lee Roth on the "Eat 'Em And Smile" tour. Saw that one live in '86, I think. Dude is a guitar genius.

Hendrix and then everybody else. After Clapton saw him play, he is quoted that he thought about giving up the guitar. No list should disclude Robert Johnson also, we are talking about the 1930s when the best blues guitarist were memorized with his skill with a $5 guitar. Love all listed above though.
