Moron(s) in the White House have driven away one of the best Drs on infectious diseases.
We could not have a worse person in charge for dealing with covid.
I believe that what I stated is based on facts. We live in the best country in the world but have handled covid among the worst. Dr Fauci wouldn't be one of Trump's puppets so he was forced out.I see that my opinion stinks just as bad as yours does. I'm relieved. Misery does love company, amirite?

Unfortunately people would rather double down on a failed strategy than admit they were wrong.
Who's "facts"? Are you a doctor? Yeah, me neither. If you think anything a "Doctor" or a "Lawyer" in any DC position says can be used as "facts", you're not quite as intelligent as I thought you were.
That opinion goes both ways, though. It depends on what your own personal opinion is as to what a failed strategy is.
Look, y'all, I think Democrats and Republicans inside the beltway are the same damn animal. I've thought this for 30 years. I have zero use for either. All they do on both sides of the aisle is take my money and make themselves rich. If either of you think that anyone in DC gives a rat's ass about you, my heart feels for you.
I don't think it's about left vs. right politics. Almost every first world country handled this crisis better than we did because they listened to the experts and implemented their suggestions. Some of those were conservative governments and some were more left leaning. Now they are re-opening their countries and our cases just keep rising.
It's not about left or right politics. That's my whole point. It's about politicians from BOTH sides trying to manipulate the masses. They are the same damn animal.
Our cases are rising because the numbers of testing has increased SUBSTANTIALLY. Why is this so hard to comprehend?
Back when the big deal was "There aren't enough tests available!!!" I said that it was way more prevalent than was being reported. Now that testing is way more widespread, this is panning out to be true. What has happened to the death rate? NY recorded zero daily deaths for the first time in months. Did anyone in our government predict any of this? I'm no doctor, but I did.
The problem is it's not just about the tests. Yes, our # of tests have increased significantly. But our positive test rate is significantly higher than most countries in Europe. We have to choose science and facts over our preferred politicians or this is going to be prolonged crisis.
And what about the important statistic: deaths?
I mean positive cases for the common flu go through the roof all the time...

I didn't produce the facts I just used them to form my statement. I'm not that bright but fortunately I'm blessed with common sense and I know many very bright people IRL.Who's "facts"? This is where we significantly disagree. I see that as a positive thing. I'm from the generation, that when a Mama found out that some other kids had chicken pox, we loaded up and went to their house. Let's get this shit and get it over with. That attitude doesn't have a damn thing to do with politicians or doctors. It's the way that diseases were dealt with generations ago. Don't listen to the government and, for sure, don't trust them.

So you think that a virus spreading rapidly in the country is a good thing? We are going to have to agree to disagree on that. Other countries have slowed the spread and that should be our goal as well. At least until we know more about this virus
