You're $10,000 over for the base model, $20,000 under for the first edition model. (Limited edition, 3500 sold out in 19 minutes, another 3500 sold out the next day in about the same time)....Will they waive the other 39,900 if I do?
Cool. When do expect/hope to take delivery?Anybody else up in here put $100 down to pre order a Bronco?
I plan on adding the $10k undercoating for the base model. You're $10,000 over for the base model, $20,000 under for the first edition model. (Limited edition, 3500 sold out in 19 minutes, another 3500 sold out the next day in about the same time)....
I put my $100 down. I’m thinking about waiting until they offer it in an 8cyl, but I’ll probably just go ahead and get it.Anybody else up in here put $100 down to pre order a Bronco?
Spring 2021Cool. When do expect/hope to take delivery?
Just one thing I heard...You're $10,000 over for the base model, $20,000 under for the first edition model. (Limited edition, 3500 sold out in 19 minutes, another 3500 sold out the next day in about the same time)....
I tried REALLY hard, I just couldn't scrape $100 together.I put my $100 down. I’m thinking about waiting until they offer it in an 8cyl, but I’ll probably just go ahead and get it.
Looks like a fun little truck.
That’s only 20 hand jobs at the truck stop. Start working out with your shake weight again and you can get that in a weekend.I tried REALLY hard, I just couldn't scrape $100 together.
So, we've upgraded from $5 ass whoopins to $5 dick whoopins. That’s only 20 hand jobs at the truck stop. Start working out with your shake weight again and you can get that in a weekend.
Pretty sure dealers have had their employees reserve them so that they will have a few in stock to sell, I would imagine these are the ones that will get the mark ups, hell I would. If they try to mark up pre orders I'd imagine Ford would not be happy about it...Just one thing I heard...
Most dealers are going to charge a huge markup, like 10-15k over msrp. I know a lot of dealers have said that they’re not going to mark them up for people who have them reserved, but I have heard that some will still try.
If you have owned a hundred or more shares of Ford for at least six months, Ford won’t let your dealer charge you over msrp. Ford stock is cheap, about $6.80 right now. I already had half of it, but I went ahead and picked up another 50 just in case. $680 is much better than paying that dealer markup. Worst case scenario, your dealer doesn’t mark up the reserved broncos, 100 shares of Ford is not a bad thing to have. There’s still time to get it, they won’t hit the lots til spring of next year. If you don’t have any type of brokerage acct, the Robin Hood app can get you started in a few minutes.
Might be worth a phone call to whichever dealer you made your reservation through to ask about a dealer markup.
I would hope so, I just figured I was half way there anyway and Ford stock is cheap, so better safe than sorry. Our local dealer said that they’re going to be sending a couple broncos to all the dealers some time around nov-dec, but they’re not going to sell them for a while. They’re supposed to be used as service loaners and for test drives. He said they’ll call all the people who preordered them to come and check them out before they have to figure out how they want theirs equipped. I preordered the 4dr outer banks version, but wasn’t able to specify what packages I want to add. I know I want the Bigfoot package, the lux package, and the bigger engine, but by the time I add all that stuff, it might be best to just get the wild track. Only thing I like about the outer banks is that it’s supposed to have more sound dampening stuff to cut down on road noise.Pretty sure dealers have had their employees reserve them so that they will have a few in stock to sell, I would imagine these are the ones that will get the mark ups, hell I would. Pretty sure we'll be able to move up or down when we actually sit down and order it. I went with the Base 2 door. Only two of us so why 4 doors? I wanted the stick shift, wife wanted the the automatic, so we compromised, getting the automatic. When I found out that the Sasquatch package required the automatic anyway, I didn't tell her that. Letting her think she won, I'm not stupid, lol... Not sure if the Sasquatch also has the V6 standard also, if not, I'll get it. Need the Modular front bumper so I can get the grill guard, When I hit a deer again, I want there to be a clear winner, not a tie, seen too many cars dead on the side of the road because the deer fought them to a tie and both were dead.I would hope so, I just figured I was half way there anyway and Ford stock is cheap, so better safe than sorry.
