Let’s face it, OSU was (and usually is) the only B1G team that had a legit shot at a title. That certainly doesn’t mean that others don’t want to play or that there aren’t great things to accomplish. To think otherwise is nuts, I don’t believe that only 1 team out of 120 has a good year.
We want to play and I don’t like cancelling before we actually see a problem arise. If the logistics of cancelling the fall season are more costly than playing a partial season, I’d like to hear why.
I also realize that based on climate that we’ll enter the traditional flu season during the season before other conferences. The speculation is that will cause a spike in Covid, but we don’t really know.
Trust me, I hate this, but I did see it coming. No single team needed to practice more than . We hired Tucker at the worst possible time, spring ball was cancelled, and our team cancelled 2 weeks of workouts this summer due to positive tests. Then 3 days into fall camp, the plug gets pulled. New coach, new system, unknown QB, etc. And Tucker still has barely met the team.
Blah blah blah, I’m just venting. I want the season to happen, but I don’t think anyone can say yet whether it should or not, but everyone pretends to know one way or the othe with no doubt.
