I posted a lot on the Purple Board, but never in "those" threads (I did look at them, though. Some of you guys have great taste). Maybe that's why I wasn't banned from SO (I haven't posted there since the purge anyway), or maybe I just wasn't on anyone's shit list. I agree that it didn't feel like a private club; it was a place that annoying trolls didn't know about, like an oasis.

It's funny to think about now, but I was drunk/stoned at a blackjack table in Vegas and Sloopy called me saying all hell had broken loose about the Purple Board.

It wasn't a private club. We just excluded people we didn't like.
 
I went to the Purple Board a few times. Posted a few comments.
Did not get a permaban though. Stopped going to SO after the purge.
Did go back one time, about a month later, to see if banned. But was not.
Haven't been back since.
As far as Bans on SO, hell, I was banned more than any of you scrubs.
Granted, all but 1 was justified.
Even took ebullets for Falcon.
Fun times.

This is surprising. I've always pictured Autzen as a button-down MBA type. Obvious extrovert, probably in Sales.
