The new and improved Good Morning thread!

Good morning everyone. It's been a busy, stressful couple of days. My mother in law has been under hospice care for the last month. Yesterday morning she passed away. The wife and I have been running on caffeine and adrenaline for days. I may not be on the board much in the next week or so while we are making arrangements and traveling. There will be a service in Georgia, then we're travelling to West Virginia where she will be laid to rest. The wife and her brother have a lot on their plates, and a lot of decisions to make regarding her home and stuff. If you're a praying person, please keep them in your prayers.

My condolences to your wife and family. She's lucky to have you caring for her, such a tough deal.

Good morning everyone. It’s been a whirlwind couple of days. I’ve been keeping the road hot between here and Atlanta. We’re having my mother in laws wake Thursday, and memorial service on Friday. We’ll then be heading to West Virginia Sat am, and laying her to rest there.
The wife is an emotional wreck. One minute she’s laughing about a memory, the next she’s crying, followed by intense anger. All I can do is hug her and let her vent.
Its kind of crazy, her mom went from alert and lucid, to unresponsive and organ shutdown in 12 hours. I was shocked how quickly she went down.
The one positive, is that she had her babies with her when her time came. She wasn’t alone in some cold hospital. Thank you to all of you and your well wishes, and please continue to keep my wife’s family in your prayers.
