B4 I start im not in any way labeling him a bust. 3x all pro. After his 1st season, injuries he got off to a slow start, then the past couple of years i thought he was developing into a superstar. Or so i thought. Now from what ive read he will be traded. $ thing or so ive read. Better than average player tes, but just cant seem to get over that hurdle that could make him into that said superstar? Has he reached his cieling, i know injuries have slowed him down. Were some critics correct on his predraft status about his work ethic or want to ? What say you pisters of the 5th? @-----slim----- really would like your 2cents and other USCe fans

Just some quick reference stats:
62 games played.
29 career sacks
205 total tackles.
64 TFL
4 FF

That's the problem with most 5* linemen. They are fully grown men at 16 years old and are destroying competition with are boys.

Many never develop the work ethic to be a superstar because they didn't have to work for it or their overgrown body catches up with them or both.

Just like I tell perspective college students, it doesn't matter where you start, only where you UCFinish that matters

It doesn't help having JJ Watt on the other side of him playing hurt and doing anything possible to be on the field but Clowney has completely underperformed, been hurt, missed games and needs to be paid like he has performed...

Players hold out for more money when they outperform their contract... Clowney can walk if he wants... We can find DE/OLB a dime a dozen that will have his numbers...

Wherever he ends up he better do a better job at finding the field than he did in Houston or he will find himself at the house on the couch.

I'll gladly take him on the Birds. But the price tag might be a bit much and he may not get the vibe that is the culture that is the Eagles seems to be the impediments.

Hear say is one thing, but how dumb do you gotta be get caught on tape?? We are talking curly hallman type dumb.

Hearing my Phins may lead in acquiring him but I don't want to give up Tunsil our best O lineman for him. We need O line more than we do a DE with an injury history.

When Clowney was eating everything in front of him in college, I made the statement that he was at his peak and would not live up to the hype when he hit the NFL. I don't watch the NFL. Anyways, I caught hell from SCar fans for saying he was already peaked back then.

Other than your lame a$$ last sentence, that was a good post. Try not being so immature, you may have something substantive to add after all.

Dafuq, bro? I pretty much tell all young folks the same thing. "Life ain't about where you start, it's about where you finish. That's on you."

How is that advice lame?
