Gotcha. Tell other dawgs that are going that if they aren't staying downtown, they can take the light rail from the Pineville station (at current end of the line at I-485) with plenty of free parking. About a dozen stops on the way, but air conditioned. Drops you about 2.5 blocks from stadium.

They are planning to extend beyond the state line to the new Panthers HQ in South Carolina. Don't know status of extention.

As shown, it is close to I-77 (via I-20 from Augusta), exit right unto I-485, then exit unto South Blvd. Turn left (North) towards downtown. Just after crossing I@485, turn left at first stoplight to access I-485/South Blvd Station. Some parking on left before driving under rail line, and a parking garage on other side. Free parking at this station (at least before virus it was), later stations are a mix of paid/free/no parking. Exit at Stonewall Station. Street level is one story down, stairs and elevator available. Go left (west) towards stadium about 2.5 blocks down.

Admit it, you'll be wearing the Red n Black for this game. I won't judge.

Edited to add: I've read that UGA and Clemson will get allotted 27K seats. That leaves about 21K to be had. UGA fans are well known for paying whatever it takes to own the stadium. Remember the Rose Bowl versus Oklahoma and the road trip to ND.

They know if they wait for a quality player to enter the transfer portal to begin recruiting him, they're too late. So they've been reaching out to third parties and using players as go-betweens. It's a violation of NCAA rules, of course, but enforcement is nearly impossible.

An SEC head coach said that not only is tampering happening, "it happens most of the time."

FSU is going full court press for Cain Madden from Marshall. Would be a big get as it would
give FSU legit two deep depth on the interior of the O-line.

Felt great till he said he was going to visit ND. Not really much we can do. Better program, that has been pumping a lot of lineman into the league right now and he can start.

According to reports, Turnage has quit the Georgia football team.

Turnage Sunday night tweeted out simply: “Relax with the rumors.”

That came after a UGASports.com report that Turnage left Athens after Kendrick's transfer was known and "more than likely is not coming back."
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Turnage played in three games last season as a redshirt freshman at Alabama with a pass breakup.
Georgia’s depth in the secondary was already thinned since spring practice when sophomore safety Major Burns transferred to LSU. Another defensive back from Louisiana, freshman Daran Branch, is no longer listed on the Georgia roster.
Former Tulsa cornerback Akayleb Evans tweeted Sunday night that he has a Georgia scholarship offer.

Depth is no longer a problem in Jon Sumrall’s inside linebacker room. Jacquez Jones, Ole Miss’ leading tackler in 2020, has committed to Kentucky. Jones was also considering South Carolina, UCLA, West Virginia and Liberty, but was convinced to become a Wildcat while visiting UK’s campus this week.
This fall of 2021 will be the second season Jones has spent learning from Sumrall. Jones played as a true freshman for the Rebels, recording 36 tackles, 2.5 for loss and a forced fumble in 2018, Sumrall’s only year in Oxford. The exceptional season earned Jones a spot on the SEC All-Freshman team.

“We are thrilled to add Jacquez to our team,” head coach Mark Stoops said in UK’s press release. “He’s an experienced playmaker who has been a great leader in our league.”

Hailing from Tuscaloosa, AL, Jones was a mid-level three-star recruit in the class of ’18, ranked by the 247 Sports Composite as the No. 45 outside linebacker in America. Measuring in at 6-foot, 235 pounds, he surpassed 70 take downs in each of the last two seasons, leading the Rebels with 75 in the ten-game 2021 season, including seven against Kentucky at Kroger Field, the setting for his current Twitter profile picture. Don’t worry BBN, he did much worse damage at Death Valley.

That was a huge pick up. Jones is solid in pass rush, against the run, and in coverage. Having played for Sumrall, he'll be ready to play at full speed day 1.
 
Georgia WR Demetris Robertson enters transfer portal (247sports.com)

A veteran receiver is leaving Georgia's football program. Dawgs247 has learned that super senior Demetris Robertson, who is entering his sixth season, is planning to transfer and has entered the NCAA's Student-Athlete transfer portal.

Robertson has spent three years in Athens where he has shown flashes but struggled to meet the tremendous expectations placed on him by his five-star rating in the 2016 class. The Savannah Christian product was the nations No. 13 overall prospect and No. 1 wide receiver according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite. He was the No. 3 player in Georgia.
