If/when Oklahoma and Texas do officially move to the SEC, how much success do you truthfully see them having in the near future years. I know both programs have decent showings against SEC teams. However, there is a huge difference between preparing 3+ weeks and playing Georgia in a bowl game, and actually playing a full SEC schedule every single year. Will these programs quickly become worn out from the toughness of the SEC, or will they be able to adapt quickly on and off the field.

Oklahoma will have much more success in the SEC. Texas is a has been. The environment in Austin is not conducive to being a contender in CFB. I welcome the Sooners with open arms, but I have no desire for Texas to desecrate our hallowed grounds.
Kinda agree. I just really feel like Texas fans are kidding themselves that they will be successful in the SEC. They have had such a difficult time winning in the lesser Big 12 recently, how are they gonna consistently win in tougher environments.

I love my SEC brothers here and they know that but the SEC is gonna have a 16 team league? Is it still 8 conference games? What a sham, how can you crown a champ and play only half your league? OTOH, OU and UT will enjoy playing the El Paso knitting team or the Tulsa school for the ugly in late November.

I'm done 🤣

Is ASU opening the season against an OOC top 5 opponent? Get back with me on that 8 game conference schedule thing when you do that just once.

ASU has done that many times, as have most P5 schools, it’s all about the scheduling. Get back with me the next time UGA doesn’t play a 1-AA team in late November, unlike most P5 schools.

I don’t expect much success from Texas right off the bat, but hopefully after being in the SEC for a few years, Texas will learn to cheat a lot better, then watch out.
