The new and improved Good Morning thread!

Morning all. I have almost 30 acres of hay to bale today but it's supposed to rain, when I mowed it, the forecast was for it not to rain till Saturday.
Most folks don’t realize just how hard a farmer works, or how a change in weather can cost you a fortune. I appreciate what you and the rest of the farmers do!

Over the weekend the refrigerator/freezer decided to call it quits. I did all I could to try and fix it myself and pretty much determined it was the compressor (duh). Anyways, the misses took over the research and found out the compressor is still covered under our warranty. So, she arranged for a repair guy from the manufacturer to come out yesterday and properly diagnosis that the compressor is the culprit and have it replaced.

The repair guy shows up and confirms it is the compressor, but a new compressor is not available for two weeks at the earliest. Oh shit, I know what's coming next. I watch as the misses gets on the phone to take care of this news regarding a two week delay. As you know, I'm deaf, so I can't hear what is being said but I watch her on the phone and the actions of the repairman.

I don't know who was on the other end of the phone line but they caught her full wrath. Meanwhile the repair man is slowly backing his way into the corner of the kitchen creating distance from her. He went from writing up a bill for his time, to ripping it up and throwing it away. Soon he is packing up his things and leaving without submitting a bill. It should be noted, the misses never turned her anger towards him, and he was cool, but he couldn't wait to get out of our house.

So, next thing you know I am shopping for a new refrigerator last night because she isn't paying for labor cost for small parts that are not covered under the warranty and she definitely not waiting two weeks for the new compressor. She has a statement she has to make to these people. Well after pricing new ones, she wakes up this morning and now it appears we are going to wait the two weeks for a new compressor. Now keep in mind this may all change even as I type this out.
