Bet the farm on Clemson. UGA just lost 2 very important starters for the season opener.

Kirby Smart releases official statement on Darnell Washington, Tykee Smith injuries (dawgnation.com)

Following multiple reports that former 5-star 6'7, 280lb, TE Darnell Washington and former All-American transfer DB, Tykee Smith are both expected to miss the season-opener against Clemson, Georgia head coach Kirby Smart released a statement.

“Darnell Washington and Tykee Smith sustained foot injuries during practice this week,” Smart said. “They are both undergoing treatment and have an excellent prognosis. Their status is day to day.”

Everything I'm reading is saying both underwent surgery today and will be out 3-4 weeks.

Losing to Clemson isn't a season killer. Hell, they are favored to win anyway. It's next man up. Keep it close and make it a quality loss. The schedule gets pretty easy until the SECCG. Just passing word along to the bettors. I really thought UGA had a good chance to beat Clemson, but without these 2, it's definitely an uphill battle. I'd move the spread from it's current -3.5 for Clemson, to at least -8. That's just how important I think these 2 are to that game.

DAMMIT... I was so looking forward to that game.

Even when my football IQ tells me that the Dawgs will likely lose, I never pick against them. Never have and never will. I'm not gonna bet on the Clemson/UGA game, I was just giving advice to those that may.

Back in the day Gin and Tonic was my go to drink when I was out chasing women in clubs. I'll never forget this one cute chick that I was chatting with and I leaned in and kissed her and she goes "OMG that was like kissing a Christmas tree".

Hope they have complete recovery - after the WLOCP, of course...
