I seriously think this year it is going to be
Bama
Georgia
Tamu

The rest of the country is chasing those 3. I would put Ohio St and Oklahoma right behind them based more on talent and roster than their performance in week 1.

Everyone else is a step behind those 5

I'm with you on Georgia and Bama. A&M to me is guilty until proven innocent but still up there.

They were sneaky like Indiana. Indy beat all but two teams without a winning record last year and I think A&M has done the same.

I still think OU has enough to make it, that Tulane game was scrappy.

Virginia Tech, UCLA and Penn State are my guys to shake up their respective conference and if the dominos fall right could see themselves win it.

Alabama and A&M look to be in the safest spot in the SEC. I think the east will be a little tougher with the obvious UGA, UF leadership on that end but with a strong Mizzou and quite possibly Tennessee

A&M is no great to the damn Champs. We shall crush them easily. Their women will weep, their fathers hang their heads in shame as we humiliate the bastards born if their loins. Georgia however poses a legitimate threat.

They both won, and ND did it against a P5 team.

The entire Top 10 I have will eventually sort itself out amongst its own.
You really think Iowa State should be ranked #4? And ND #7? And OK shouldnt drop???

Yes. There's a 2007 feel in the air with this season and if we are being honest, this season is stacking up for "Who wants to lose to UGA and Bama in the CFP" but ND looked shaky, they closed the game off in OT in a hostile stadium.

Iowa State played an Iowa State game. They don't come out and smash you, they wear you down

I disagree, but appreciate the response bro. I would, at the very least keep them in the same spot without moving them ahead. In your defense, I didnt rank the my top 25!

We will see on Tamu. I think Jimbo and his DC just about have their roster fine tuned and ready. The question will be if their offense can match the offense Bama will put out

Okay but let's be honest, does anyone else feel a certain 2007 vibe here?

I don't think the final 25 will look anything remotely like what we have now.

I also don't have a fine tuned method for my rankings outside of the Eye and Gut test.

I shot UCLA way up because it's between them and USC this season. I don't think Oregon or Washington are going to be as strong as we thought.

Virginia Tech shot up and UNC fell completely off because of how readily VT came in and shut them down. Now, I don't know if they can beat Clemson this year but I damn sure expect them to give it a good show.

I also like FSU after watching that game with ND only if FSU keeps Milton in.

I had one team make my Top 25 on a loss and that was Tulane. They played every bit like a top 25 team against a top 4 ranked Oklahoma at Gaylord.

I also am willing to put money down on Penn State beating Ohio State this year. Ohio State has the skill positions on lock but the QB can be rattled and Penn has the front 7 to really mess with the freshman.
