To start, I am very happy about this, but let me just say this. While I have no love for Helton as USC's head coach, I hope he finds a good coaching job in the future. He came in when we needed an adult to represent us. I have never read anything about his character that would tarnish him or USC. As I stated in a post several years ago, he is a good 8-4 or 7-5 coach. Nothing wrong with that in some places, but at the risk of sounding arrogant, not USC.

Now let's see if the university is still interested in football. For years I have read that the president and b.o.t just don't care. The truth will come out in the next several months.

Exactly who I wanted thought this may happen today. A lot of backlash from former players Keyshawn was vocal and some top boosters. Glad Coach Dee is interm GH has to go next. Hoping for Fickell in the long run Fight On sheepdog \/

Quality human being. Yep. Heard the same when Mike Shula was hired at BAMA. Lotta people said as a man you won't find a better person. But as a coach? Well, we all know how that turned out.

That's great. But their AD is the old Cincy AD and he's reportedly going to offer Fickell the job. It's likely already a done deal unofficially.
