Damn, they should have no more frost in the next 30 days. I would have thought they still had snow coming.

Up here the old timers rule of thumb is May 10 as the last frost and therefore the mater planting day. My son is in Idaho and he has his maters out already. Oh, he knows they will get killed by snow probably but his wife just wasn't going to be satisfied if he didn't get them into the ground.
