The BCS was the first nail in the coffin. Most teams were happy if they made a bowl and won it, even if they had hoped for more. And any undefeated or 1 loss team could make their arguments, especially if they crushed a good bowl opponent. Now it’s natty or bust for everyone, which is nuts.

I think most of the Big Ten teams will have a higher floor, but lower ceiling type of vibe. A lot of decent teams, not many have the ability to run someone off the floor. 2nd round exits will be the norm I’d guess, but the seeds would predict that too.

The SEC is going to have good teams in every region of the NCAAT. MSU will likely be facing 1 or 2 if we make it thru a few rounds. I don’t recall much BB talk here before, so it should be fun.
