PSU opened up at Wisconsin last year and it was one of the better games of the day. A conference game to open, especially in the road, is not an easy layup for any team. Kudos to both teams.

So, kinda curious your point. If PSU isn’t playing a conference game to open the season. Then they’d be playing a Non-Conference game. Which would either be a Big P5 money game or a cupcake at home they’d be paying to come and play. Either way, money is the factor in all of it.
