If it were me, I would locate as many tunnel entrances as possible, clear them, them start pumping water from the Mediterranean Sea into them. I would televise it as I had pigs butchered and their blood introduced into the water flooding the tunnels. I would drown those animals in pig's blood.

That is the problem with no-knock warrants. Those guys were coming in expecting to apprehend an armed murderer. But, in my opinion, this was just bad protocol. A flash bang and and tear gas would have saved this man's life... Hard to blame the individual cops for following bad protocol.
