Will Minneapolis burn under Slick Joe's watch? Or will we not care about this one?
I will edit to say - probably not criminal - but more negligent, based on the facts as I understand them now.
The kid was shot within 10 seconds of entering the home. He was not the target, nor a specific person of interest. He had a gun, by all counts he had it legally. But even the video/photo evidence show he was showing trigger discipline. It's not a crime to have a gun. It's an unfortunate case.I don't think any of the officers are at fault. I think the department and city probably are...

I can agree with that, but I do still put at least some of the blame on the cop. The no-knock warrant didn't pull the trigger. We have the Second to protect us from an overbearing government - we shouldn't use the excuse of "he had a gun, so we were scared"I don't disagree, but with him coming up with a gun (legally owned) you'd have a hard time finding that the officers didn't feel they were in danger.
It was a bad situation all around, but the cause, IMO, was the no-knock warrant, which shouldn't be a thing except in the most extreme circumstances where the target is absolutely verified...if at all...
