The one silver lining is that they brought on all the archived PM conversations from Rivals, so I’m still able to see the back-and-forth this group had during the Purge.

I’m wondering if we’ll get to the point where most Rivals refugees frequent both boards? I was hoping we could just land at one (this one), but I think it’s cool that the Purge victims are getting to interact with fellow Soundoff posters again.

Updating this thread because it’s now been revealed that Soundoff is shutting down after tonight.

The assumption is that once Rivals fully integrates into On3 beginning July 1, they will discontinue the free Soundoff board. The only board from Rivals they’ve added so far is tMB, which is behind a paywall.

Rivals was acquired by On3 earlier this year, and it’s being fully integrated on July 1. Although it hasn’t been explicitly stated, the assumption is that they’re discontinuing the Soundoff board after June 30. To this point, On3 has setup a tMB on their website but not Soundoff.

Assuming Soundoff goes belly-up on July 1, I plan on being a regular poster over here moving forward. @CouchOnFire We have some catching up to do… just like Pitt did in last year’s Brawl ;)

I’m surprised only one person besides myself chose 5Q… hopefully we get more refugees to come over here.

Yup. I’ve been living life here the last six years. A move might be in the works, however.
