2020 Recruiting Class

Norvell has been doing weird stuff lol

Y'all can always snatch Jamyr Gibbs away from GT. That'll make up for losing Edwards to UGA. I mean Gibbs is higher rated by 247 and was just named "Mr. Georgia Football".

Dalton running back Jahmyr Gibbs was named Mr. Georgia Football for the 2019 season. The Georgia Tech commit ran for 2,554 yards and 40 touchdowns in only 11 games.

@OldDevilDawg ..... I am hearing today Edwards is strongly trending to the Dawgs

I don't make the news, I just report it early. I'm not sure if it's the attention he's getting from Dell McGee or the fact that he's not real high on Norvell's list of priorities. Edwards fits UGA, Jahmyr Gibbs fits what Norvell wants better. I do think y'all pull him away from GT. It's a win/win, IMO.

Edwards took an official visit to UGA yesterday. I'm not seeing any results from that yet. Right now it's a crap shoot who leads the race.

Now I'm seeing possibilities that UGA and #1 RB Zach Evans are talking again after they released him from his LOI at the beginning of January. It is believed that, under the guidelines listed on the NLI website, rules won't allow him to sign another LOI this academic year. He may go the same route as former 5-star Demetrius Robinson and sign a financial aid agreement, something that gives him a spot on a program's roster but does not bind him to that school.

We've landed three 5 star transfers in the last year. That doesn't show up in the recruiting rankings but it definitely shows up on the field.
