#5 Iowa versus Maryland.....both are 4-0

Well then. Nevermind. B1G refs are treating Iowa like they might be the only chance they have at the playoff. That constant list of penalties on every play before that Iowa TD were pure bullshit calls. EVERY DAMN ONE OF THEM.

I didn't think most of them were that far off. Not sure on unsportsmanlike one though. Don't know what happened there. The pass interference call was justified.

Prove me wrong. I want a competitive game and refs that go unnoticed in every game I watch. That last Iowa TD series the refs controlled the whole damned thing.

Im not going to argue that but Maryland were committing some of those. The holding on LaPorta the tight end was blatant.

unfortunately, refs are human,
and fans of the game,
and, likely, have favorite teams
and unfavored, as well,
and may make calls preferentially,
whether they're intentional or not -

full disclosure:
i've ref'd HS n jHS games in the past
and fucked up a few calls -
fortunately, none that decided a game -
