Key Points:
- ACC teams will play a 10 game conference schedule
- There will be no divisions, top 2 teams play in the Championship Game
- Notre Dame will play 10 conference games and they are eligible for the Championship Game
- 1 OOC game will be played but it must be vs. an in-state opponent.

I'm liking this. ND needed this as much as CFB did. The ACC didn't have to cater to the Irish. They could have sat back and watched a failed season.

Let's be realistic. Any CFB season without Notre Dame would be a loss for ALL CFB fans. We still don't know if we'll have a season or what it will look like if we do. That said, no matter what it's like, CFB needs ND to be an active player in whatever it ends up looking like.

ND would have had games. And I'm still not sure what the final schedule looks like.

Last I looked they are still over booked a game. I believe they are going to drop one of either

Navy
Arky
W Michigan

And I am willing to bet it wont be Navy. Kelly did have a conference the other week he was saying that there were plenty of opponents calling to replace the lost B1G and PAC games. But I think him and the ND AD want ND in conference for football. And this is a backdoor way to put a toe in the water

I’m going to miss you guys this year. Every other year we make the trek to L.A for the ND game. Tailgate before and after the game with ND and USC friends.

So does everyone think that ND's schedule will be harder or softer (without consideration of outside forces such as Covid) due to this?

It would be the ultimate Notre Dame folklore thing for ND to win a CCG in the one year that they’re officially in a conference and then go back to being independent forever. It would seem like fate if Clemson wasn’t so loaded with talent.

When they joined the ACC both the men and women's basketball teams have already won championships ;) And I believe there are a couple other sports also
