ACC adopts 10 + 1 model; Notre Dame will be a member for the 2020 season

When they joined the ACC both the men and women's basketball teams have already won championships ;) And I believe there are a couple other sports also
Yeah, but the ND mystique is based on football glory. And it hasn’t been competing as a full conference member as other sports have.

I think ND's regular season schedule is about the same. However, if they make it to the ACC Championship and have to play Clemson twice, it will look much tougher.

I was curious what the old schedule looked like, but too lazy to look it up so I could make an informed opinion.

Yeah they lose home games against - USC, Arky, W Michigan, and Navy in Ireland.

I honestly don't remember what the ACC slate was, but I do know Clemson was on it. That was realistically the best chance for the first home loss ND has had since Georgia played there the other year.

Realistically unless something insane happens I expect on this schedule (if it was to get played in full) for ND to be in the 1 to 2 loss range. I don't see much else there. Their defense is going to keep them in every game. The only 'equal' team they see is Clemson, and Clemson is still on the next step up. So unless the ND QB became some mystical level of amazing in the offseason or the entire Clemson defense is out for Rona the week of Clemson I just can't see a win there.

So there is a potential for ND and Clemson to play twice.

And before all of the Clemson fappers out there get a hard on about being the first team to play and beat ND twice in the same year, Michigan beat you to it by over 100 years.

The one game that caught my eye was the road game at UNC. Not sure if that was already scheduled or new to the "new" schedule. I think UNC is gonna surprise a lot of people. No offense to your guys, but I think that's gonna be a loss.

That is the easy sleeper choice with the energy that Mac brings.
I think they surprised people last year expecting an easy year 1 win. They won’t get that again this year. It will be earned wins. So will see how they stand up.

and again. Remember this is a head coach that has lost games at home to Tulsa, USF, and Michigan. So anything is possible

Spin it however you want to, but I still say ND loses the road game @ UNC. The only thing that can prove me wrong is an Irish win.
