By far will be the toughest game in the regular season for ND. I cant believe the penalties. Again this O line play should be a crime. Not homer honking. ND has as much talent and depth on that O line as any school in college. And the coaching for it is terrible.
I wasn’t worried about the Georgia O line. It is a known quantity. Swift was going to get rush yards and Fromm was going to get some throws in. But as long as ND could compete and even win on the edges it would mitigate the middle.
12 penalties for 85 yards though is just unforgivable.
Great game by Georgia. I will say Kirby needs another dimension in his offense if he wants to beat Clemson and Bama though. What Georgia does they do great. They are missing that “thing” that separates them on the offense when it has to be clutch.
And just to mention. I am a life long Domer and remember before the NBC contract was a thing and have listened for years to people complain about how ND is fawned over on NBC. But good god does CBS have a chubby for SEC. I mean good lord. Doesn’t that get old? I mean ND has Flutie who doesn’t like ND doing their color and it is cool to hear the commentators call out bad play for the home team. CBS should try it sometime
Good luck to Georgia the rest of the way. Easy to say they should have the east wrapped up. No one else in the division is playing elite like they are.
