Me personally, I go to "giphy.com", search for the one I want, open it, then drag and drop it into this box.

Sorry for the confusion but your method does work. I was trying to copy and paste like I do on other sites.

For me, I do the copy + paste method. I copy the images address. Then when I open the Insert Image (CTL + P) thingy, I select the paper clip icon on the right that says BY URL.
