7-5 with Brown retaining his job and snags his best class next year... the climb is flattening.
I hope you're right about Brown. Really wanna see him succeed at the power5 level.

You probably have the most over-paid coach in CFB.I’ll go with 7-5. 6-6 is probably more realistic with the schedule and when injuries hit. What I want to see is some kind of consistent identity, and then take some momentum into next year. A bowl game is an absolute must this year.
At this point I agree. There was a donut hole in the trenches that he’s trying to dig us out of. OL, DT and TE has bodies now, not sure they’re ready. Tucker said we have some dudes that can play, but depth is a concern (almost always the case forYou probably have the most over-paid coach in CFB.
).I am suspecting 10-2 or 9-3 this year.
I am far more excited for our game this year than last.
Someone asked me about it tye other day. And for now I still have it as an L until ND proves they can win. Unfortunately ND has lost every game they have played against Ohio St in my life time.
My biggest scares are that the safety group is worse this year in overall talent than last year. But CB and LB is better. And D line is a push. And a first year, first time OC. I think ND will be able to put some points up. I don't know if they can stop Ohio St from doing the same. And I don't know how good the Ohio St defense is set to be compared to last year
Along with whom may I ask?I think it will be a competitive game. I do not give us any advantages over ND. I have ND as one of our loses IMO.
IIRC, he already stated that he expects another loss to TSUN.Along with whom may I ask?
The whole point is to get him to repeat it. Damnit man!IIRC, he already stated that he expects another loss to TSUN.
So most are thinking 10-2 for their team. Following that logic I get this:
UNC 35-17 W
Furman. 10-17 L
Georgia. 28-24 W
Miss St. 35-17 W
Tennessee 63-31 W
Florida 48-17 W
Missouri 28-27 W
A&M 24-21 W
Jacks St. 17-16 L
Vandy 31-10 W
Kentucky 17-10 W
Taters 48-31 W
I'm going with 9-3 based on excellent reports on our preseason offense, Rattler has been killing it, and assuming he stays healthy. We don't have a bruiser RB, however we have several very experienced players there and a QB that can keep the LB backed off the line, as well as a WR that will require teams to double team him (Nykolas Harbor 6'5", 243lbs, literal Olympic speed).

Tucson? Impossible.I expect Bama to lose to TSUN.

Shane Beamer is 17-11 at South Carolina after two seasons on the job and has led the Gamecocks to two consecutive bowl games. Once is an occurrence, twice is a pattern, albeit one borne out of a mighty small sample size. But the fact remains that the number of coaches who have led South Carolina to back-to-back bowl games is small, and the number who have done it in their first two seasons on the job is two: Beamer and Steve Spurrier.
In Spurrier’s third season in Columbia the Sporty Chickens went 6-6. 3-5 in the SEC, and did not go bowling. So if Beamer the Younger can get to the postseason this year, he will quite literally be the most successful head coach in South Carolina history, at least by one arbitrary metric.
Teams like South Carolina, Vandy, and Kentucky live in a precarious place. They can improve from year to year, yet have a worse record simply because of the fickle whims of the scheduling gods. This season the Colombian Chickens get five teams currently ranked in the top 25, including Georgia, Tennessee, and Texas A&M on the road. That’s to say nothing of an opening week cross border contest with #21 North Carolina or the usual season finale with #9 Clemson. Add in a trip to Mizzou, a home date against Florida, the usual weird and unpredictable matchup with Kentucky, and the ‘Cocks may need some mojo and/or voodoo to make it to seven wins.
It's your kool-aid, though, so you can make it however you want to.

You're forgetting that Shane went 17-11 with Muschamp players. He's starting to put his players in the game now. We have much better talent this year and next year we will be better with more talent, experience, and depth.![]()
