Any Michigan fans here?

What do you think of the upcoming game this weekend? I think that it is a bellwether game for both our teams. Iowa hasn't played anyone good yet, and Michigan got beat down once this year by a damn good Wisconsin team, but Michigan is still a decent team with some good athletes, so I am interested to see where Iowa stacks up in comparison.

Not a fan of either, but i'll say I think Vegas has it about right. It'll be very close. Probably Michigan by less than a td.

I'm afraid that it will be Wisconsin 2.0 but I hope I'm wrong. Iowa seems to be able to physically run the ball and I'm not sure our defense can stop that. Our offense can't stay on the field enough to give the defense a break.
See I'm worried about your receivers and our defensive backs, a couple of the starters are still hurt, and the backups are serviceable but have alot to learn yet, and have been exposed at times.

If they where to get blown out tomorrow, do you think the bandwagon fans jump ship?
With how much Michigan is blasted in the media, I’m not sure we have any bandwagon fans left, NTTAWWT. Both local and national media seem to be off the train as well it looks like since I’ve mostly seen them predicting an Iowa win.

So, inside wise, what's it like? I can't understand for the life of me how Michigan and ND, who are blue blood programs just can't get it together.

Harbaugh had a great thing at Stanford, why doesn't that translate there? I just don't understand.

There’s a lot to it but the biggest thing has been the Ohio State hurdle. I mean Michigan was 1 play and 3 inches away from going to the CFP in 2016. It hasn’t exactly been the same after that, and Harbaugh hasn’t looked the same. Like he’s taking Zoloft or something to subdue his antics (he got a 15 ya unsportsmanlike conduct during that 2016 game) so maybe he’s doing something to mellow out. But it just looks like the fire and passion he had at Stanford and the 49ers and early Michigan is missing.

His recruiting has been good, but Ohio State thanks to Urban Meyer was and is on just another level. Harbaugh is a hell of a coach (he out coached Meyer in 2016 & 2017 imo and had that Stanford win over USC which I believe was the biggest spread upset in history) but you can’t out coach everyone every time. The lack of depth and the striking out on players at key positions has been a tough mountain to climb. It’s like by the time they realize they have a positional deficiency and no one is going to break through, they fix it with recruiting but then forget about another position. It’s been a strange, exhausting ride.

Not to hijack this thread but I have to ask. Do you or any Michigan fan ITT know anything about this wolverine painting?

I inherited this painting from my uncle (Michigan grad) over 20 years ago. All I know is he bought this painting in the 70's at a fund raising auction for Michigan athletic department. UM has the original and this one is one of the limited number of copies that were auctioned out. I'd like to know how many are in circulation? How rare is this painting? and how much it's worth?

I've taken it to several Sports Memorabilia Appraisals, but they didn't have any clue.

I disagree on the Michigan and media part.

Other than Harbaugh has toned down his antics which I think is good for the program.

It's boom or bust for Michigan imo. The media can't wait to blast the hype rocket off, but they love to blow it up even more. Either way they win, and make a lot of money.

Not quite.

If Michigan goes 9-3 or 8-4 and Michigan gives Harbaugh an extension, what does that say about the program.
