Long story short, I dabbled about 30 years ago when I bought a used (and already built) Tamiya Grasshopper. I spun it around a little bit but moved onto other interests. My GF surprised me with one for my birthday but it is a complete build-from-scratch project. It’s the original that is still in production. I’m a little intimidated but also intrigued with this build. Just curious if any of y’all have done a build or three and have some pointers or good YouTube channels to check out. My work schedule is a grind right now but hoping to chip away an hour here and there until I can pull this off. Yea yea, I know it isn’t the cream of the crop in the RC world but it’s still a custom project that I can modify and make my own. Would love to hear your stories and input. Cheers!
 
Well your timing kinda sucks. My daughters boyfriend, oops now ex is into it pretty big. Goes to weekend competitions including a big event in Vegas. I would ask him to help you out but after a year of dating they just broke up this weekend.
