How do you view the bye week? Good news to get guys healthy, or too much time to get rusty?

Stress strength of schedule in selection and you have a competitive playoff game.

Expand to 16 teams. Need to move the unproven to bottom of bracket and earn it.

The four best lesser conference champions and four worse teams (especially any team without a top 25 win or any team without a championship game (cough cough ND cough cough (sufficient SOS can get them out of this) and these four are ranked top 16, should have a play-in bracket to win two slots in current 12 team bracket.

That would weed out the wannabe teams from the contenders.
