OT: our new conference Commish just sent out feelers to all the old Big 8 schools, including OU to see if they'd stay while noticeably not sending one out to Texas.
I know it's a pipe bomb dream but I'd love to have the old guard back.

100% agree. But we all thought OU & Nebby would keep theirs too so who knows.
Hell even Mizzou cancelled their one and only rivalry with KU.

Anything is possible right now. As a Dawg fan, The majority of the first half of my life UGA/Clemson was every year. I'm a proponent of that being a permanent rivalry that true CFB fans deserve. Now it looks like Clemson could end up in the SEC (which should have happened decades ago). The stars align the way they do. We have no control as spectators. Sometimes we get what we hoped for in spite of progress, because it was meant to be.
