Say good bye to the ND - Wisky game at Lambeau Field.

But this could be the domino that helps push ND towards a conference. If PAC and ACC follow that could leave ND really bored this football season.

Big Ten, Pac12 and ACC will only play conference games. ACC says it will help fill NDs schedule if possible.

Stupid and pure cowardice. I'm genuinely disgusted at the way our country has handled this.

I just posted this on a UGA site in a discussion about having no season because of increasing numbers. I tried to be nice with my response to a Doctor.

"Those numbers probably going through the roof because testing numbers are going through the roof, but what do I know? I said months ago the numbers weren't accurate. There's a helluva lot more of us that have already had it than what is being reported. I'm not sure how to get past this because I'm not an expert on viruses, but I've seen some experts that suggested herd immunity is the quickest and best way. As a 54 year old lifelong smoker, I understand that I could be at a much higher risk of dying from this, but I'll accept my fate. I just want all this to be over with so our country can get back to normal.
The least they could do is let me watch at least one more Dawgs game before I take my trip to the other side."

We deserved this. People couldn’t sacrifice even a smidge of their comfort, they couldn’t collectively buy in to the seriousness of this issue, and while countries around the world got their shit together to begin a better tomorrow through small sacrifice and strong leadership, we’re no better than where we were months ago.

I fully agree with that part.

I'm a lifelong believer that if you're scared of dying, then you're scared of living.

I doubt we have a season at this point. We should have taken it more seriously at the beginning

Cool, but I’d rather hold on to my friends and family a little longer.

I lost my best friend that I grew up with when we were both 21. He got killed in an accident at work. I would have liked to have had him much longer, but we are arrogant as hell if we think for a moment that we can control death. We as a species have had to deal with diseases, viruses, parasites, etc. for eternity. All of those things are part of Earth's ecosystem. To think we have advanced ourselves to the point that we are more than just another piece of that puzzle is, IMO, the very arrogance that I spoke of.

Shit happens. It always has. Keep putting one foot in front of the other one. Move on. Enjoy everyday as if it's your last, or theirs. Just my stupid opinion.

Notre Dame's schedule may consist of just their ACC opponents given the alliance between them as the ACC may go the Big Ten route.

Okay chicken little. Months ago, this was thought to be a death sentence. Now, we know for the vast majority, it's a mild fever and cough. Do people die? Sure. And that is tragic. But, it's absurd cowardice to allow that to keep the country and our way of life altered (perhaps forever) because bad things happen.

This is the most overblown nonsense. Our country is composed of cucks and karens, more than eager to hide away from the big bad self made monster. We have everything to fear because of fear itself!

We’re not. All of these measures are just softening the blow so they can say they exhausted all measures. As the end of the day, spiking numbers of cases, teams shutting down voluntary workouts, no fans, it’s just not going to happen. Hopefully this kicks some people in the ass to make sure we’re not having a similar discussion a year from now.

My friend died of Brain Cancer at 30 years old. It sucked. And I’d gladly replace any one of you to bring her back.

But I don’t want to go through that hurt again if it’s avoidable. And I’d imagine most people would agree to that.

Yeah, most would agree they'd never want to suffer grief again. But most would also agree risk and death are parts of life. Should you never drive again, because people die in auto accidents? You might choke on a burger. People trip and fall going down stairs everyday. This virus, it's not ebola. Precautions taken initially out of fear of the unknown were reasonable. Now, given the data, which is exaggerated and sensationalized, it's ridiculous...and yes, political.

Yes, people die in car accidents, but I go a proper speed, I don’t drive under the influence, I keep an eye on surroundings.

Yes, I might choke on a burger, but I make sure to take small bites, have liquid around me, and chew slowly to avoid the hazard.

No, this virus isn’t Ebola but it’s also new and still inconclusive in a number of aspects. So I wear a mask, I keep my distance, I keep interactions outside my house limited.

At what cost, though? The destruction of our economy?

Thing is, I don't see Covid-19 running it's course as avoidable. It will do whatever it's gonna do. Delaying the inevitable will simply stretch it out well beyond societal sustainability. Again, just my stupid opinion.
