CBS & Big XII Commish Bret Yormack have been in some big talks for CBS to buy Tier 1&2 rights for the Big XII with Tier 3 being renewed on ESPN+ same as every conference.

The numbers they said would come from Tier 2 rights alone would be 12-20 million per school with Tier 1 numbers still not known or rumored.

The plan for Tier 2 is to carry on CBS parent company streaming platform Paramount+ along with the Thursday Night NFL Game.

Very exciting if true.

Also still in the mill is the 4 corners 3 still wanting to come over in Arizona, Arizona State & Colorado. The rumor with Colorado is that they feel they were sold on false promises with the then & again Pac-10

The PAC will accept Okie Lite, Iowa Lite, TT and Baylor.

if the AZ schools are currently negotiating,
(surely, (and dont call me shirley)),
would they announce
without Utah n Co included,
at least,
in the discussion?
JMO, but I think every school is looking for what's in their best interest right now. I think the AZ schools are a foregone conclusion. Utah and Colorado better get on the ball. I still firmly believe that WVU is gone, they just haven't left yet. They understand now that they never shoulda left the East Coast, but at the time, they didn't have an option. Now it's options galore.

believe you're correct -

agree with the sentiment,
but it'd be '25 -
and if the B12 is at 16 w/ the 4 corners,
would the eers make the move?
to the 4th,
(and next to be pillaged),
power conf?

I'd like to be able to keep Red River and Bedlam. I think Red River would've kept on being played if OU and Texas went to separate conferences. I think Bedlam may be dead, at least for the short term.

I think bedlam will be sour grapes for half a decade before things change. I'm not sure but I really am not looking forward to losing that game.
