We had to leave the East Coast, and Luck arranged a lifeline with the XII. I am not sure there are that many options for us now. The B1G has never even been a pipe dream for us, because we know that is not an option. Regionally we fit best in the ACC, but they never wanted us (read the history pinned if you don't believe me, they spun off from the Southern after we were added). I have had many SEC fans tell me that we fit culturally with their conference, but I don't think we would add enough revenue. So, the American? No thanks!

Also, why do you believe we 'understand that we never should have left the East Coast'? Yes, we have had down years in the XII, but there are multiple reasons for that. Honestly, we would have had down years no matter what conference we were in. I am hoping we are turning the corner in football this year.
