Board travel advice … westward ho!

Magruder Cooridor. A 101 mile, one lane dirt road open for only a few months a year. The only road that separates three designated Wilderness Areas the size of damn near New England. No gas stations, no homes, no power lines, no sewer, no cops. The most remote place in the US without visiting @AlaskaGuy. Bring a lightweight fly rod for brookies in the crick and cutthroat in the high lakes.

And then stop by and havea beer at The Reverse RP.
When you say the word crick I know or somehow we’re motherfucking related.

I just googled it. For what little factual basis this has: 😁
Brook, you can step across
Creek, you can jump across
Stream, you can wade across
River, you can swim across

Did Needles Highway and Peter Norbeck Byway, etc yesterday. Gorgeous.

Driving I-90 across South Dakota Saturday and was stunned with a Missouri River view that could not have been more different than what I am accustomed to seeing closer to home.

Hit Little Bighorn today on the way to our current overnight at Livingston MT.

On to Jackson Hole tomorrow, where the hotel is costing me my left testicle.

Stopped by the Missouri River headwaters by Three Forks today. Can’t begin to convey how incredible that was. Then followed the Madison River as we were driving down to Jackson. Just gorgeously pristine. Every body of water around here is so fantastically beautiful. Pic is of the Jefferson (left), Madison (center) and Missouri (right) rivers. Gallatin River joins a mile downstream.View attachment IMG_0695.jpeg
