I’ve long been impressed by the knowledge of the posters around here (even back to the Soundoff days). Thought I’d start a thread so we can share what we’ve read to give us ideas as we finish books and think about starting others. I don’t read nearly as much as I’d like to, and finishing can be a challenge with busy days we all have.

I’ve just now sat down to start this one. Not sure the author’s views always align with mine based on his previous books (which are both excellent reads). But his views are interesting and thought-provoking nonetheless without being dismissive or combative.49362E5B-29BA-4F4C-B0D4-EE689E0BD23F.jpeg

Moby Dick at the moment. I’m four chapters in. I read about two chapters a day. Then I’m moving on to 1984, then Altamont, then Helter Skelter
Heater Skelter was creepy as hell with those ghostly whited-out silhouettes of the bodies.

I havevnt read in a while,, however when I used to travel a lot,, I would read on the plane,, and if I ever got into a book,, I woud become obsessed and actually lose sleep, cause I couldnt put it down..
I like the entertainment side a lot more than self help type books.. I like westerns, and I like adventure..
I've read just about all of the Louis Lamour books,, loved the Sackett series..
and Stuart Woods tells some great stories,, with Stone Barrington ,, he is a guy we can all love.. Drinks Knob Creek, Fucks hot ass women,, and is always making a million dollars somehow.. all while solving some kind of mayhem..
