Cash is king

It seems I just got used to no cash and only carrying a debit card, I've noticed more and more lately places are charging additional money when you use a card, they have signs that say "cash preferred"..

Who all has gone back to using cash and how do you get it, ATM I suppose ??

Ive been to a grocery store and also a Taco Hell this past month and their system was not working and weren't excepting cards. I was like WTF? Also I rarely carry cash. I guess the bums at the off ramp of the interstate are also suffering. I have starting getting a few cash bucks at places like Walmart/Kroger that dont have any fees to get extra cash with a card. My small bank charges extra at the ATM if it is not one of their banks and I do travel a bit. So if I want to get out $20 bucks I have to pay the ATM and my bank like 5 bucks which ultimately leaves me with 15!

Yep, same here,, a buddy of mine just got his debit card hacked and had to go through the hoops.. he swears he just going to use cash from now on, hope he don't get mugged on the first of the month!

I always have some cash in my pocket, you never know when the Chinese will turn off the Internet for a couple of weeks.
