I'm torn on the proposed news of Schlossnagle becoming my Longhorns head coach. Rival at TCU & just at TAMU where I liked trying to beat him. Just feels wrong. Be like Urban coaching my Wolverines football.

It was kinda shocking he took that job after getting pissed about the question after the CWS.

Part of why I'm not a big fan of this. He's got the baseball part down, but this type of behavior is his downfall. When he was at TCU I wanted the Longhorns to bash them badly. Then A&M more of the same feeling. Now I have to find a way to support him.

Turns out the deal was made in April. He handled it all wrong. He should have just said he wasn't going to speak to speculation.

Yep he's not good at handling that stuff. Doesn't surprise me with his tie to the AD on the deal. Going to heat the rivalry up another notch. He's going to have to win right away for the fans to be on his side. I'm not sure the roster is SEC ready though. We've struggled lately in the Big 12.

This was like a Nuke dropped on College Station. They have 7 or 8 players entered into the Portal.
