If there had been a 4 team playoff that year......Bama, ND, tOSU, UGA...

1 Bama versus 4 UGA (It's damn near impossible to beat the same team twice in a single season.) Bama barely won the SECCG

2 ND versus 3 tOSU (ND had no business being where they were ranked that season.)

NCG UGA versus tOSU......just damn.

I’m a very firm believer that if UGA pulled the SECCG out against Bama, Bama would not have went on to be the Bama we’ve seen. Of course they’d have been contenders every year, but 2012 made back2back champs and 3 in 4 years. That’s unparalleled success and after that they set records in recruiting, allowing them to become even better.
