Coronavirus. How worried/prepared are you?

Until I talk to a family member who is a researcher for the NIH, I won't have a definite opinion. But when politicians say it's under control, I do start to worry.

I am afraid that my normal apopolypse plan is inappropriate for this situation. Rather than hoarding water and canned food, I hoard ammo so I can take your water and canned food. That works only if you aren't carrying some fatal virus, so I may need to rethink.

I'm not concerned about getting sick (though, if I caught it, I'd likely die), but, about it collapsing the economy (thus getting someone other than Trump elected), and bringing society to a standstill.

It's all okay until you literally can't buy beer.

Oddly enough, the more likely it is that it will grow here ... the less concerned I become. The unknown and uncertainty is what’s driving the “hysteria” at this point. Along with politicians of all party persuasions looking to take advantage of the opportunities to sway voters.

I honestly think once this thing becomes more real here, people will get a truer picture of what the reality is going to be and things will start to settle down. If the nimrod politicos will allow it to settle down.

Call me conspiratorial, but, given cases are showing up in the bluest parts of the west coast, that all suffer from extreme TDS, it wouldn't surprise me if it was intentionally introduced to cause a panic in the market in an attempt to prevent Trump's re-election.
