End of 2020 Season Top 25

My guess without knowing anything would be he probably told the kid he would be there long-term. I couldnt say. I obviously wasnt recruited to play football anywhere. I will eventually remember who it was. That way it isnt me spreading rumour. Whoever it war was encensed about it. The impression I had was he sold the kid on the program. Then he left. That was before the recruit could opt out. He probably never played for Saban. But war a stellar athlete. Wide receiver. At least thats my recollection. He didnt leave Michigan St. But he was mad. And is still upset about it. I guess he thought he was swindled. I wouldnt know. But I have a few hard feelings when people lie to me. That might explain why. But I wouldnt know.

Speculation is a sharp sword. Blaming your shortcomings on someone else is a sharper sword.

Im sorry I cant remembeq the players name, but I wasnt making up a lame excuse when I said there was bitternesr. Following the players recquitment. It was something I recently discovered. I wouldnt know if Saban bid his team farewell. But that player is infuriated. If and when I rememaer his name I will reveal it. Not a run of the mill recruit. A blue chip. One apparently sold on what ever line of bullshit Saban used to recruit him to Michigan St thinks Saban is a poor example of leadership. A great player. Not some bitter benchwarmer. Thinks Saban is a piece of work. O.K.? Not some wash out.
here man, I'll help you out.. ... ... and my response, one shithead out of many.. also, I dont think I need to defend Saban any further, Reply to this if you will, but i'm done.

Yeah. Plaxico Burress. I guess I messed up the story. But at least I didnt invemt it out of thin air. He clearly was still sore about it. Long after it happened. Im sure other coaches have done the same thing. It might nnt be a lie as muci as it ir an exaggeration. Mel Tucker said it before jetting off to E. Lansing. He told the Colorado faithful he was committed to the Buffaloes. Which I suppose he was until the plane touched down. Its an act. The whole thing upsets me.

At least he didnt pull a Petrino:

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. A copy of the letter Bobby Petrino left for his players informing them he was resigning as the Atlanta Falcons’ head coach was lying on the carpet of the locker room late Wednesday. It was crumpled as if it had been thrown to the floor in disgust.
A copy of the one-paragraph, four-sentence letter from Petrino was also tacked up in the locker room with Petrino’s signature scratched out and the word “coward” written in large letters.
Petrino fled a 3-10 team Tuesday to become the University of Arkansas coach, and spiteful players left behind took aim, one by one, at their former coach.
“I was watching his news conference at Arkansas and he was grinning ear to ear and it made me mad, it made me real mad,” said cornerback DeAngelo Hall, a critic of Petrino’s style of dealing with players.

It's all in how a person chooses to look at it, I guess. I'm uncertain where I stand on it. It seems anyone can have an opinion about a coach. Good, bad, or indifferent. I try to stay neutral unless I've had dealings to make me feel otherwise. But I never know the truth.

If you want to give the championship of an entire organization to one person, be my guest. I send to believe there is plenty of credit to share. But admittedly I've never been involved in coaching anything. Or participated, other than maybe tiddllywinks.

You can defend him. I've never dealt with him. Maybe he's a prince but he strikes me as rather sullen. Nothing wrong with that. Not my style, assuredly. It must work for some. It probably wouldn't work for me. Is the National Championship everything it's cracked up to be? Of the opinion it's not. That's without ever having competed for one. But it seems when you are dealing with children. And I consider under age 21 a child. A little juvenile. I participated admittedly distantly as a member of a state championship cross country team. BFD. It isn't anything remotely close to what I think is relevant. It maybe isn't even worth discussing except that it happened. Plus if you really want me to be a prick, I can. How does being a fan of a championship matter? I remember liking that the Miami Dolphins were a world champion. Larry Czonka was my favorite football player. But nobody's giving me any praise for my role. Because I wasn't responsible for any of it. I can't take credit for any of it. I also liked Don Shula. So? Like any of it really matters. It's dumb
Nick Saban, as best as I can tell never won a championship. He set forth the methods. Maybe made them easier to utilise. But he isn't directly responsible either. And he sets a tone I find disrespectful to the kids. I won't say he hasn't measured it. He has and then some! But clearly he's banking on the Alabama mystique. Which wasn't created as much as it was passed forward to him. Follow? He didn't do anything amazing at Miami, FL. Clearly hes not a magician. I'm not really sure what he is. But he's a sourpuss. That's not really admirable. IMO.
