What’s all those sparkling things in the sky? I use to see them when I moved to Temecula 30 years ago. Not anymore, to many people now, and that brings more street lights, smog, strip malls, etc.

Temecula eh? Not far from the duty station I retired from (Camp Pendleton) just over 8 years ago.

While over the past 8 years we have leveled off, the surrounding cities have gone growth crazy.

A lot of Marines still in town.

I’ve been on Pendleton numerous times as a recruiter for the police department I worked at and the Marines have graciously allowed the police/fire surf Olympics competition take place at San Onofre (Church, what the surfers call it) beach that is part of Pendleton.

I prefer San Diego but occasionally Ontario. As a matter of fact headed to Ontario now to drop off daughter.

The 15 is bad if headed south towards San Diego in the morning or North on your way home in the afternoon.
