So let’s say this plays out and LSU makes the playoffs.

Realistically there isn’t two teams from the SEC making it. So does that screw Georgia out of the Sugar bowl if so?

LSU is in. A second SEC team is probable. The few remaining games will be the decider...

The only way a second SEC team is probable at this point is if Georgia wins out and it's a competitive game vs LSU in the SECCG.

I honestly dont see the SEC getting two in.

If Oregon or Utah runs their table they will get a spot. I would expect something like.

All conference champions
SEC
B1G
PAC (if Utah or Oregon with no more losses)
Clemson if they run the table.

If you are the Bama you are begging for chaos. Because right now they are on the outside. Their schedule this year just isnt good enough with 1 loss.

Agreed that Bama is out, still possible but like you said it would take total chaos.

In 2012, #3 UGA lost to #2 Bama in the final seconds of the SECCG 32-28. Bama went on to win the Natty, UGA got bumped down to the Capital One Bowl. Florida got the Sugar Bowl.

If UGA loses the SECCG to LSU, I fully expect that Bama gets the Sugar Bowl. UGA has a long history of bad luck if they have a loss or 2. The only way UGA will ever win a Natty is to go undefeated.

There's always next year

2011 2.0

I dont think the loser of the seccg will ever be the 2nd sec team in a 4 team playoff.. for a conf.. (any conf.) to get two in, I think you have to have a situation like lsu/bama where the loser of reg season game stays highly ranked and other shit happens.

Bama will be 4 tonight.. but that will change unless.. auburn beats georgia and Bama beats auburn. AND.. Pac12 champ has another close game against an unranked opponent.. AND baylor takes a loss..

if all of that does not take place, the end result will look like this;
Clemson
Ohio State
LSU/Georgia winner
Baylor if undefeated or 1 loss Utah or Oregon

Fuckin Tennessee, they had to hurt our QB.. anybody thought about that yet.. MF'ers..
and another thing,,
LSU better stay the course,, Ole Miss or aTm could throw a big monkey wrench into the mix..
Not to mention, Georgia could lose to auburn and then go beat LSU;
Wild shit could happen.

Wild shit WILL happen. It always does. Luck lands on UGA about once every 40 years. I still have my fingers crossed.
