So, got a flat tire. Took it off and took it to the local tire store, Guy's. Took it off the rim and there was a big old hole right in the middle. Asked him if it could be fixed and he said he could probably do it. Then I asked if it was worth it... He said "depends" I told him to never say depends to an old person. He said you got wear bars starting to show so how long do you want to keep them? Told him that they didn't have 25000 miles on them, but didn't need a flat on my way home from work at midnight. So I asked him what did he have? He said used? I said no, 4 of them. He found 2, but not 4, so I had him put one on the rim and the office manager told me that the others would be in on Friday. I said cool, I'll see you Friday afternoon. She said we'll settle up then. Gave her my name and number and left with the tire. This is not the beer store where everybody knows my name and if I'm short not a big deal, they'll catch up with me next time instead of paying the credit card fee. Only been there twice in 30 years. Only in a small town...
BTW, Continental tires suck...
