I cooked my dad cheese grits topped with two fried eggs how he likes them with bacon and sausage this morning, a link of jalapeño cheddar deer sausage for dinner in a potato bun, fried shrimp and filet mignon with a baked potato and fresh peas coming for supper.

He may be immobile 'till some time tomorrow.

Spent time with both my kids today. I really enjoyed their time.

Also went and spent time with my mom. Father's Day has been especially hard on her since my Pops passed in 2011. She always went out of her way to make it a special day for him. I guess it was always because of the love she had and continues to have for her father. She wanted to make sure he knew that he was appreciated for all the work it takes to be a good father.
