The new president has been brought in to clean up the mess the whole University is in right now. I think they would stay away from Carroll because of this.

I can understand that, but I still think he should get some consideration. The dude is a CEO....and a good one. His football resume' is as good as any possible candidate. I know football isn't the only sport, but it's the one that makes money. Look at his career as a whole. He knows how to put together a winning team.

Well put. Years ago when my kids were kids we bumped into him. Stopped and took time out to talk to my kids. Even my bil, who is a UCLA fan and was there, was impressed with him.
