Got'eem but really, healthy masculinity is on full display here. Every single one of us with the exceptions served their country and people in some capacity.

I was talking to my wife and thinking hard on something @OldDevilDawg told me the other day and man, we have this in spades.

This whole board is a living group of men who have been there through thick and thin with each other.

We laugh, we fight, we rally around each other.

I ain't even gonna lie. I have no idea what I said. That's the beauty of honesty. I never have to remember anything I said, which is a good thing because my memory is shorter than my dick.

Dude, @CowpokeU might have more problems than a math book, but he is absolutely a genuine person. My life is better than it would have been because I was fortunate enough to have met him and become friends with him in the real world. Meeting his wife and kids, seeing his world from his perspective, joking about him with his Mom on FB, I could go on and on.
 
@MarineUKFan remember all those guys you were stationed with? Our little world here.....it's as close as I've found. The diversity, the differences that help us understand each other, the conversations that allow us to realize that the world doesn't end at the county line, it begins there. I see this in my relationship with all of these guys I've spent so much time with on multiple CFB boards. Seriously, I don't have friends that I hang out with here in this shithole little town in SGa. All of my friends are the ones that I hang out with here. I have driven hundreds of miles just to spend an afternoon. I've flown to Idaho to attend a wedding and stayed long enough to make memories that will be around after I'm gone. This is why I want to meet you in person. The internet has allowed me the opportunity to choose those that surround me and my world.

I get that totally and it makes perfect sense. I will add that I have friends that I haven't seen or spoken to in 10 or more (some cases maybe 20+) years, but I could meet up with them and it'd be like we just hung out yesterday.

Really looking forward to Boone cause that's the vibe I get from all you guys here as well.

Last year when I went to Arkansas, I drove 6 hours one way to Oklahoma just to spend the night with one of my old buddies from my time in 3/8. It was a mid week trip so him and his wife had to head to work early the next morning. I spent 12 hours on the road round trip, just to spend 3 hours with him and his wife. It was worth ever mile I had to drive.
 
Most of us are cut from the same cloth, we’ve “been there done that”. We’ve been through enough to recognize bullshit when we see it and aren’t afraid to say so when we see it. You may not agree with what we have to say, you may not like what we have to say, but by God you’re going to hear what we have to say! There’s not a person on this board that I wouldn’t be honored to break bread with, and I consider you all friends, whether we’ve met in person or not.

Some who are the wretched refuse of a board that lost it's soul when a clown with some kinda burr in his butt axed people who now as it seems were the heart and soul of a board that is but a shadow of its former self.

Solid stuff with none of the mealy mouthed sniveling of the woke crowd. If/when the revolution happens the woke binky suckers are gonna be shocked when they find out who the real Americans are.
