Kelly will always be an 8 to 10 win guy. And if you are a Cincy, a Wake Forest, Vandy, even Arky. Schools that don't have a history of success on the big stage and super high expectations. He is your guy.

But let's not pretend he is something he ain't. And I can't wait to see him get exposed when he can't hide behind a weak ACC schedule with some MAC teams sprinkled in

You are always welcome to use facts against anyone.

You want to see something that makes me say what I do. Kelly had an undefeated regular season 12. And got almost nothing out of recruiting for it. Mainly because he flirted with an NFL job in the early off season before committing to coming back to ND. And lost some really top tier recruits in doing so.

Look at Michigan. Finally got a win against Ohio St. Made the playoff. And Cincy at this point has a better recruiting class. Because Harbaugh has burned so many bridges and flirted so hard with the NFL.

Franklin, Kelly, Harbaugh. All different shades of the same color.

Agree with that! I meant Notre Dame playing a soft ACC schedule with MAC opponents. I wish ND would have done an arrangement with the B1G in football like they did with the ACC.

You hang on to that. Use it at will. He used to talk about how NDs schedule was so much harder than everybody else, and that bullshit about not playing an FCS team......more bullshit.

ND did have a harder schedule before the ACC agreement. And until this season will not played an FCS team since the expansion.

Thanks to Kelly and his bargaining all of that is gone.

You will also note I have been a proponent of ND being in a conference for years. But I guess since this is bash on IB whenever I talk about ND that doesn't fit.

Oh well. Enjoy your natty and the bragging rights. Not all of us come here to just post contraian things about others.

Dude, last time I remember you boasting about ND not playing FCS teams, and bashing SEC teams for playing them, you had New Mexico and New Mexico State on your schedule. They won like 3 games combined and both lost to FCS teams. I'm just saying, that sometimes the Gold colored glasses get just as tainted as my Red N Black colored glasses. Don't get yer panties in a wad.

What was the score of that ND vs New Mexico St game ?

Up until this year ND was one of the only teams left to not play FCS since the conference splits way back when.

Curious to see how it goes because the story in the Great Lakes area is that ND, Michigan, and lesser extent OSU aren't competing or not competing as they'd like due to high academic standards. Well now BK is at a school with lower academic standards but has highly skilled athletes that support football first. He should be NY 6 every year per the Great Lakes thinking.

I am looking forward to it. Probably snap a few pictures of the massive hole in the ground. :) I have a previous commitment I am try to end early so I can go.

U of M would be an excellent school for her for one of her choices of a major.

And I know LSU coach is Kelly, just ignoring the guy now.

It doesn't seem that big until halftime and end of the game when you see the line from the bottom to the exit and top down to the exit. Then it hits you how sneakily large it is.
